I photographed my mother, father, brother, and sister while speaking with them for approximately 15 minutes. I used a broken 6 x 6 Yashica camera that could overlap the shots. I used this to make continuous strips of negatives of each conversation. I exhibited all four conversations next to each other. In a way, this work is a self-portrait within a context of a family. All four of them were photographed in the spaces they had chosen and where they felt most comfortable. This comfort allowed them to slowly reveal themselves in a casual conversation.
